This mailing list is for owners of the EmperorLinux Ibex laptop (the Sony VAIO VX and Z1 series laptops pre-installed with Linux.) This list covers all versions of the EmperorLinux Ibex, including the VX and Z1A series. This list will announce any new hardware support and bug fixes on these models and new software of interest. Subscribing to EmperorLinux-sys-Ibex
Subscribe to EmperorLinux-sys-Ibex by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
